n, CVG ALUNASA In 1995, CVG ALUNASA decided to initiate the establishment of a system of management and quality assurance based on the ISO-9001 norm principles, as a way of guaranteeing the quality of the company’s products and services and to propel continuous improvement as a work ethic.

It wasn’t until 1999 that the System of management and quality certification was obtained in accordance with the management norms ISO 9001. The certifying entity that awarded this accreditation was INTECO-AENOR (Technical Norms Institute of Costa Rica – Normalizing and Certifying Spanish Association)

Moreover, thinking in terms of environmental protection, by means of control and reduction of environmental steps associated to the different company activities, high management, decided to implement and certify the environmental step system in accordance with the Environmental Management ISO 14000, which culminated in the certification of this system on behalf of INTECO – AENOR in 2000.

It is worth noting that these managerial norms are not of an obligatory nature, but moreover are merely the commitment entailed by the company, in favor of quality improvement of our products and services in search of optimal client satisfaction, while caring for our environment.
