Who are we?

VG ALUNASA is a company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of laminated and semi-finished aluminum products stemming from raw ingot. It is located in the Esparza County, of the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. It is the only company of its kind in all of Central America, the Caribbean and Panama. It produces around 9 million tons per year. Alunasa exports more than 80% to third markets; North America, Central America and South America, Europe and the Caribbean.

This company was founded in 1978. In 1990 the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana "CVG" (www.cvg.com) acquired 100% of all CVG ALUNASA shares.

What do we do?

n the realm of semi-finished product, CVG ALUNASA has vast experience in the manufacturing of industrial foil, discs, springs, wound laminates, rectangular laminates and fin stock. Industrial foil uses are various, special mention should be given to flexible packaging, blister, disposable molds, thermal isolators, impermeable membranes and others. In terms of finished product, CVG ALUNASA specializes in the manufacturing of institutional foil, domestic foil, interfoliated sheets and beauty foil.
